INDIVIDUAL LASER TREATMENTS

This individual session is a great option for people wanting to spot-treat their issues such as broken capillaries, age spots, visible veins, scars and more. Many clients see a difference in just one session, but it can take 2-3 sessions depending on your concern.

PRICE: From $400 (approx 30 mins of treating all concerns)

SKIN CHECK: When treating certain conditions, we may need a skin referral from either a Dr or a Nurse Practitioner, we at Cove have a Nurse Practitioner on site to be able to perform a full skin check and provide the referral in house for your convenience.  

LASER GENESIS

Laser Genesis is an incredible treatment for those wanting to transform their skin appearance and texture. By gently heating the upper dermis below the surface of the skin, we are able to stimulate collagen, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve tone and even out the complexion.

We recommend 4-6 sessions for best results, and two of these sessions are used to 'clear the canvas' of any skin irregularities such as broken vessels, pigmentation, age spots and more.

From here, subsequent sessions will be used to encourage collagen formation and improve overall texture, tone and signs of ageing.

WHAT IS EXCEL V?

excel V is the fast and easy way to treat visible veins, discolouration and wrinkles. It's the most advanced aesthetic laser technology, combining two powerfully precise lasers to target and eliminate unwanted reds, browns, purples and blues on the face and body.

WHAT DOES EXCEL V TREAT?

excel V treats more than twenty unique aesthetic and dermatologic skin concerns. The most common excel V treatments include rosacea, facial and leg veins, age/brown spots, and acne scars.

HOW DOES EXCEL V WORK?

Excel V delivers wavelengths to targeted areas and these wavelengths are absorbed by the chromophores in our bodies, which are the parts of a molecule responsible for its colour, effectively targeting the reds, browns and purples of the skin. These wavelengths are also absorbed by melanin, oxyhemoglobin, and water, helping to address fine lines and wrinkles.

During your session, we will select one of excel V’s two lasers and customise the treatment settings to target the colour and depth of your skin concern. Most treatments are finished within minutes, and results are typically seen after a series of 1-3 treatment sessions.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EXCEL V?

excel V delivers clinically proven results on a wide range of skin concerns. The treatments are comfortable and fast, with most treatments performed in under 10 minutes. Depending on the areas and concerns being treated, some procedures may take up to 30 minutes.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

With excel V, most skin concerns require only one to two treatment sessions to achieve results. However, the number of treatments will vary based on your condition. For overall skin rejuvenation, we recommend regular Laser Genesis treatments. Get in touch to discuss a customised treatment plan during your consultation.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

excel V treatments can feel similar to a quick rubber band snap against skin. Depending on the procedure, a cooled treatment tip will be in contact with the skin to protect and provide additional comfort to the area. A topical aesthetic may be available upon request. 

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? WHAT ABOUT DOWNTIME?

Typically, you can wear make-up and return to normal activities immediately. Redness and/or swelling can be expected following treatment. For full face treatments, swelling will peak 24 to 48 hours post treatment and usually resolves within a few days. Treated brown spots will darken following the treatment and slough off within 3 to 5 days.
